Introduce Addiction From Both a Biblical & Scientific Perspective

Week 1 introduces addiction and compulsive behavior through both neuroscience and biblical teaching, helping participants understand why we often do what we do not want to do. It explains how the brain’s reward system, habit loops, and dopamine responses reinforce destructive patterns while Scripture reveals the deeper spiritual struggle of being mastered by sin.
